The project work included the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the 56 megawatt turnkey Power Plant, including 3 x 18.5 megawatt Steam Turbine Generators, 3 x Distillate Fired Package Boilers, 3 x 1.9 megawatt 11kv Diesel Generator Sets, 2 x 11kv-415v Transformers with associated Earthing Transformers, HV/LV Switchboards, DC/UPS systems, Plant Control System, Instrumentation Aircompressors and associated balance of plant.
After auditing and assessment was carried out on Interlec Pty Ltd’s Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental System, Quality Management System and Financial Capacity Interlec were awarded the Ravensthorpe Nickel Project’s Power Plant Electrical and Instrumentation Construction Installation.
